Stetson University offers about 80 programs a year at several different
locations around Central Florida. Currently we offer traditional
programs on our campus in DeLand and ocean front in Daytona Beach.
These programs consist of three academic programs on a variety of
topics such as art, literature, religion, music, area studies, history
and politics and are taught by university professors or local experts.
In Daytona Beach we offer three levels of Golf which allows hostelers
from the complete beginner to those with lower handicaps to improve
their game. Classes are taught by active PGA and LPGA professionals.
We have also partnered with Florida Tennis Center and the use of
their 24 Clay Hydro-Courts that will allow our tennis professionals
to walk you through the correct approach to all the shots, making
sure all the basic foundations are set so that corrections can be
easily made for every situation.
We have two programs in St. Augustine that focus on the history
of Florida's First Coast and one on Seaports, Settlements and Sugar
Plantations: How "La Florida" Began. In Orlando, we offer
two Chinese Cultural programs where you learn of the history behind
the different dynasties that ruled China to current events with
the help of Chinese Nationals and American Foreign Service retirees.
The week also includes a visit to a local Buddhist Temple, dinner
at Ming Court, little Tia Chi each morning and several cultural
events. This year we gave added a new Chinese program that will
focus on exploration of the world-famous Chinese visual and performing
arts supported by live demonstrations and performances by China's
national and international award-winning acrobats, musicians, dancers,
martial artists, Peking Opera performers, painters, and chop-carving
artists in Orlando, the family entertainment capital of the USA.

secrets of Florida's Space Coast including trips to Kennedy Space
Center, Brevard Zoo, Mosquito Lagoon, an airboat ride on the St.
Johns River and much more. To add to your enjoyment, you will be
staying at an ocean front hotel.
Baseball is back. We will be with the Dodgers during their last
preseason at Dodgertown before they head west. We will add the Mets
and Nationals to the Dodgers to make this an busy baseball week.
We are also offering a baseball program with the Atlanta Braves,
Astros and some collegiate teams. A visit to the Disney Wide World
of Sports is included.
We also have an Intergenerational program for grandparents and
grandchildren that will focus on the history of St. Augustine. The
